The biggest youth movement in Tanzania totaling to 98 member youth NGO's and CBO's across the nation.
The Mission, Vision and Goal stay to be the same, addressing issues of young people at policy platforms and effecting changes in the grassroots through a broad network of youth development practitioners


The Refocusing Process and the new shape of the TYC throughout 2007 to 2010

In 2007 the TYC has experienced a huge organizational restructuring, whereby decentralization has become a key agenda in the Secretariat. TYC has also shaped its focus limiting it to three Key areas namely

1. Youth Livelihood and Employment- A Policy Approach
2. Environment
3. Youth Health and Gender reflecting the MDG's 3&6
